Terms of Service
These are the terms you agree to when you buy from PetNest. They cover who can order, how prices and payment work, when your order becomes a contract, and what happens if something goes wrong. Sections 5 and 6 matter most, because our order minimum and our two payment methods have conditions you should know about up front.
1. These terms
These terms apply when you buy from pet-nest.org, which is operated by [LEGAL BUSINESS NAME]. By placing an order you accept them. Please read them before you buy, particularly section 6 on payment, because two of our payment methods work differently from a normal card checkout.
2. Who can order
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract. We currently ship within the United States only. Orders with a delivery address outside the United States cannot be fulfilled and will be cancelled.
3. Products
We describe each product as accurately as we can. Photographs are for illustration, and colour can look different between screens. Natural materials such as leather vary slightly from item to item, which is normal and not a fault.
Stock is limited. If an item sells out after you order it, we will contact you and refund that item in full.
4. Prices
All prices are in United States dollars and exclude shipping, which is calculated at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but a change never affects an order we have already accepted.
If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price because of a technical or human error, we are not required to sell at that price. We will contact you, and you can either pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
5. Minimum order value
Orders paid by Apple Pay, Chime or PayPal must total at least $100, including shipping. Checkout will tell you if your cart is below that.
There is no minimum when you pay with cryptocurrency. Any order value is accepted on that method.
6. Payment
We offer two ways to pay, and both are worth understanding before you choose.
Apple Pay, Chime or PayPal. When you select this method your order is placed on hold and is not yet paid. Our team then contacts you with the payment details. Your order is only processed once that payment reaches us. Nothing ships before then.
Protect yourself. We will only ever contact you about payment from support@pet-nest.org. Payment instructions that reach you from any other address or account are not from us. If anything looks wrong, stop and email us before sending money.
Cryptocurrency. We accept USDT on the TRON network and Bitcoin. The order confirmation page shows the wallet address, a step by step guide and a place to upload your payment screenshot. Send the exact amount, use the correct network, and confirm the address carefully before sending.
Cryptocurrency payments cannot be reversed. If you send funds to the wrong address, send the wrong amount, or use the wrong network, those funds are generally unrecoverable and we cannot restore them. Send a small test amount first if you are new to this.
7. When your order is accepted
Your order is an offer to buy. The confirmation email you receive when you check out acknowledges that we received your order. It is not yet acceptance.
The contract between us begins when we confirm your payment and dispatch your order. Until then we may decline or cancel an order, for example if the item is out of stock, if we cannot verify payment, if the delivery address is outside the United States, or if we reasonably suspect fraud. If we cancel, you get a full refund.
8. Delivery
Shipping rates, dispatch times and delivery estimates are set out in our Shipping and Delivery policy, which forms part of these terms.
9. Returns and refunds
Your right to return an item and how refunds are paid, including how refunds work when you paid with cryptocurrency, are set out in our Returns and Refunds policy, which forms part of these terms.
10. Your account
You do not need an account to order. If you create one, keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for activity under your account.
11. Using the site properly
Please do not attempt to break into the site, scrape it at a scale that affects other shoppers, submit false orders, or upload anything harmful through the contact form or the payment screenshot upload. We may suspend access or cancel orders where this happens.
12. Our content
The PetNest name, the product photography, the written copy and the design of this site belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them commercially without our written permission. You are welcome to share links to our pages.
13. Using our products safely
Pet products need common sense. Check that a harness, collar or carrier fits your animal properly before use, and check it periodically for wear. Supervise your pet with any new item, and do not leave a pet unattended with a chew or toy that has begun to break apart. Follow the care instructions supplied with aquarium equipment.
Nothing on this site is veterinary advice. If your animal has a health problem, speak to a vet.
14. Our responsibility to you
If we fail to meet these terms, we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that failure. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses.
We do not exclude or limit our liability where the law does not allow it, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Nothing in these terms affects the legal rights you have as a consumer.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
15. Events outside our control
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as extreme weather, carrier disruption, or failures in payment or blockchain networks. If such an event occurs we will contact you and, if the delay is substantial, you may cancel for a refund.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and the United States. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of California, unless the consumer law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the version published when you placed your order, so a later change does not affect an order already made.
